Dr. Nancie Evans is a culture and leadership expert who partners with HR/OD leaders and professionals to align their companies’ cultures and strategies to achieve business results.
Nancie began her culture journey in 1988 when she had the opportunity to play a major role in a culture change initiative at a large telecommunications company. This was just the beginning of what has become her lifelong passion—developing great leaders who create great organizations with amazing cultures.
In the years that followed, she has worked with organizations across a wide range of sectors and industries, developing and refining her thinking and approach to culture change. The insights gained from this experience, combined with her deep knowledge of the relationship between leadership, strategy, and culture, have resulted in the CASPE culture change process.
Nancie has a PhD in Management Learning from Lancaster University in the UK, which was preceded by an MA in Developing Human Resources from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Human Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. She is married and has one four-legged baby, Yofi, a Coton de Tulear, and lives in Uxbridge, Ontario in Canada with her husband of thirty-five years, Alan.
An avid horsewoman, in 2012 she was forced to retire from competition (three-day eventing and dressage) after experiencing multiple head injuries. Since then, she has taken up cycling—road and mountain—and even competed in two bike races, one in Mexico with three thousand other crazy people. The best part of the hobby? Creating lasting memories with her sister Patti as they explore the world on two wheels together. For those wondering, Alan has made it very clear he has absolutely no interest in joining them.
